Hands, powerful symbols of love, loyalty, and friendship, were frequently incorporated into jeweled tokens of affection during the sentimental Victorian era.

We created this antique charm holder by casting a Victorian era jewelry component in solid 14k gold. The pendant features a gloved hand with a snake coiled around the cuff and a tiny diamond ring on its finger. The hand holds a 14k gold split ring for holding a pendant or an array of charms.

The charm holder pendant measures 1.5 inches from top to bottom by 0.5 inches wide. It is solid gold and weighs 6.9 grams.
